Heads Up! 

Most video streaming platforms (HBO, Netflix, Prime, etc.) do not permit the use of a personal account to stream videos in class. Check the license or terms of use, usually found at the bottom of the website.

Visit the Minstry of Education's copyright page for details on permitted uses of dramatic and musical works in schools. They have licenses with the following copyright collectives: 
  • Artisti (Société de gestion collective de l’Union des artistes inc.)
  • SOCAN and Ré:Sonne (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada)
  • SoQAD (Société québécoise des auteurs dramatiques)
  • SOPROQ (Société de gestion collective des droits des producteurs de phonogrammes et de vidéogrammes du Québec)
